It is with sadness that I announce the death of our acoustic rhythm guitarist, Keith Newell, lost last week to Covid19.
Keith has played guitar and sung at most of the gigs since 2012, providing a steady accompaniment to the music as a whole, regular backing vocals and the occasional rich baritone solo. A real gentleman, he was unstintingly calm through rehearsals and performances, and always friendly, attentive and professional. He was softly spoken, smiled often and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
My prayers are particularly for his closest loved ones. May they find hope in the fact that Keith’s confidence was in Jesus who conquered the grave and promises eternal life to those who believe.
